BioThe Boring Version
Lara Zeises is the author of Bringing Up the Bones, an honor book for the 2001 Delacorte Press Prize Competition; Contents Under Pressure, winner of the 2006 Delaware Blue Hen Teen Book Award and a 2006 IRA Young Adult Choices selection; and Anyone But You. She is the recipient of a 2005 Emerging Artist Fellowship in Literature-Fiction from the Delaware Division of the Arts and holds an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College.
Lara has also published two novels under the pseudonym Lola Douglas: True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet and its sequel, More Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet. True Confessions was adapted into a movie starring multi-platinum recording artist Joanna “JoJo” Levesque and Golden Globe winner Valerie Bertinelli that premiered on Lifetime Television in August 2008.
Lara's next project, The Sweet Life of Stella Madison, is due out July 2009.

Hi, I'm Lara. I've had this journal forthree four five six SEVEN years now. I'm a total pop-culture junkie, so most of what you'll read here is me talking about pop stuffs, like TV, movies, and music. Occasionally you may read something about my schnoodle, Scout, or his Uncle Jake and Aunt Daphne (also schnoodles), my fiance Joe, or my obsessive love of my home state (Delaware). And of course, I often post things about books, including my own.
